Some friends and I decided to ski up to Spaulding Meadows just above AukeBay in Juneau. The trail is a three-mile ski with an 1,800 foot elevationgain. From cabin located at the top of the trail, we would ski down toPeterson Lake and then out to the road. It took us all day and in total wecovered around 13 miles. The dogs did well.
