Two house size chunks of ice cascade down the front of South Sawyer Glacier in Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness about 40 miles south of Juneau, Alaska. I was on a boat photographing mountain goats at the tideline when I heard the glacier cracking. I swung around with my 300mm and started shooting immediately. I was very thankful for the auto-focus and auto-exposure. All I had time to do was compose the image. The F4 gave me my correct exposure and focus. I shot this photo using a Nikon F-4 with a Nikor 300mm F/4 lens on Fuji 50 film.-Mark Kelley
