Sea Otter, Sitka Sound, Alaska – Image 2467

I have had terrible luck trying to photograph sea otters over the years. Last summer, I decided I needed to focus on these cute critters. I went to Sitka, and with a lot of help from Allen Marine in Sitka I was able to get a bunch of good photos. If you want to see sea otters in a beautiful island studded ocean wilderness head to Sitka and explore Sitka Sound. This photo illustrates the month of October in my 2007 Southeast Alaska calendar and is a postcard in my new line of postcards released this year.
