Sea Lions, Ealge Glacier, Alaska – Image 2471

Sea lions haul out and rest on a buoy with the Eagle Glacier in the background. It always amazes me how these animals can manage to get up on this buoy with no arms to pull them selves up this steep sided buoy. What is really amazing is that I have seen them resting in the green metal work above the red buoy. This photo illustrates the month of June in my 2007 Southeast Alaska calendar and is a postcard in my new line of postcards released this year.
