Red Knots, Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska – Image 2496

Red knots stop over in Glacier Bay on their migration to the northern parts of Alaska. Knots are not very common in Glacier Bay except during their migration. Again, my friend, Joe, was able to paddle our double kayak within shooting distance of these birds. This image illustrates the page 80 in my book on Glacier Bay National Park.
