Raven, Juneau, Alaska – Image 2281

A corporate client asked for a photo of a raven for their annual report. I did not have a great raven shot so I went looking. To my surprise, I found ravens difficult to photograph. They seem almost everywhere except when I needed to photograph one. I found a person who had a captive raven. The wild ravens would gather in the trees around the captive raven’s mew, and I was able to get my shot. This photo illustrates the month of November in my 2003 Juneau Calendar.
