Most people have put their skiffs and boats away for the winter and it is hard to get out on the water on those beautiful winter days. I shot this photo on a skiff ride over to my friend’s summer home in Icy Strait in February. We were going over to do a few days of work on his place and to enjoy the great winter weather in the wilderness. This photo illustrates the month of February in my 2003 Southeast Alaska calendar.
