The calendar tells me its mid-November but the warm temperatures and lack of a first snow makes me wonder if the calendar has it wrong. In 2000 our first snow came in early October. This photo was shot about 9 a.m. in the morning from the Douglas Island overlook of Juneau and illustrates the month of October in my 2003 Juneau calendar.
