The use of a slow shutter speed on my camera blended the fast flowing Kongakut River into a soft blur. I rafted sixty miles of the Kongakut River with my family and the guiding company Alaska Discovery. Except for two-half days of rain, we had 60 to 70 F degree temperatures and more caribou than mosquitos. I shot this photo with an Nikon F/5 equipped with a 20-35mm Nikkor zoom lens, polarized about 5:30 am on Fuji Velvia film rated at ISO 50.-Mark Kelley
