Icy Falls, Tracy Arm, Alaska – Image 2523

Icy falls is one of the too-many-to-count waterfalls cascading down the 2,000 foot high fiord walls of Tracy Arm. This falls is a favorite among boaters. The deep water in front of the falls allows boats to get so close that they can dip their bows in the falls. This image illustrates page 59 in my new book on Alaska called Alaska: A Photographic Excursion and is also the photo for the month of November in my 2008 Southeast Alaska Calendar.
