Icy Falls, Tracy Arm, Alaska – Image 2475

You can’t see the full length of Icy Falls, but it comes out of Icefall Lake which is about 1400 feet above the water surface of the fjord. The vertical fjord wall continues 200 feet below the surface. Passenger boats can pull up within inches of the falls and put their bow in the falls, often to the delight of their soaking passengers.
