Iceberg Bird, Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska – Image 2604

Pigeon Guillemots spend their summers in Alaska and are a very common sight in Glacier Bay National Park. I was photographing a book on Glacier Bay National Park and generally placing the bird in the environment that helps define its habitat. The red-footed bird resting on a small iceberg helps place this bird in Alaska and Glacier Bay National Park. This photo can be found on page 25 in my book, Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska, which has sold over 70,000 copies.
