Gold Creek, Perserverance Trail, Juneau, Alaska – Image 2382

I shot this photo in the October of 2003. Usually the fall in Juneau is nothing but pouring rain. Last October we had two weeks of sunshine. An outdoor remodeling project took priority over shooting the sunny October. I got away for one afternoon and shot this photo on one of my most favorite hiking trails. I look at this shot and think I am in Colorado. This photo illustrates the month of October in my 2005 Juneau Alaska Calendar. Camera: Nikon F5, Lens: 35-70mm f/2.8 Nikkor, Polarized, Film: 35mm Fuji Velvia (35mm color slide film).-Mark Kelley
