Geese, Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau – Image 2231

Canadian geese fly in formation past the Mendenhall Glacier and surrounding mountains. The geese spend much of the winter eating on the Mendenhall Golfcourse. I was lucky to get them to flush in front of the glacier and luckier still to get them all to seperate. This photo illustrates the month of November in the 2002 Juneau Alaska Calendar.
