The float plane flies over the Rhode Island-sized Juneau Ice Field. This massive junk of frozen real estate extends 100 miles north and south and another 45 miles east and west. This image illustrates pages 4-5 in my new book on Alaska called Alaska: A Photographic Excursion. Camera: Nikon F/5, Lens: 35-70mm f/2.8 Nikkor polarized, Film 35mm Velvia slide film-Mark Kelley
