Fireweed, Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau, Alaska – Image 2378

One of the most photographed scenes in Juneau is the field of fireweed atBrotherhood Park next to the Mendenhall River with the Mendenhall Glacier inthe background. Most photos only show the scene. There is a great hikingtrail right through the middle of this scene, and I love to put people in myphotos. This photo illustrates the month of August in my 2005 SoutheastAlaska Calendar.
