Eaglecrest Ski Area, Juneau, Alaska – Image 2609

Skiing is still great at Eaglecrest, Juneau’s local ski area. We still have over 150 inches on top and another 85 inches of all-natural snow at the base. This winter has been stunning with nothing but dumps of snow or dumps of sunshine. So far this year has been one of the prettiest winters that I can remember, and actually is the third great winter in a row if you love snow like I do. This image shows off my most favorite view of the area. It is on the West Ridge hike. The view overlooking Admiralty Island takes my breath away and I never tire of it. Enjoy the photo and thanks for visiting.Nikon F5, Lens: 35-70mm f/2.8 Nikkor, exposure settings unknown, polarized, Fuji Velvia 35mm slide film-Mark Kelley
