As the tidal waters flood the sun-drunched slough behind Eagle Beach, my son and his friends charge across the water for a swim with our family dog, Rosie. The incoming tide warmed by the warm earth makes for a very enjoyable swim. This photo illustrates the month of July in my 2003 Juneau Calendar.
