Dwarf Fireweed, Granite Creek Basin, Juneau, Alaska – Image 2532

I stumbled on this field of dwarf fireweed or river beauties on a hike up into Granite Creek Basin. I had no idea these fields of flowers were up there and was just on a cloudy day hike with no real goal. I was happy to have had my camera and tripod along to make this image.
