Downtown Tenakee Springs, Alaska – Image 2838

Photographers including myself are not always the best editor of their images. A good rule of thumb in photo editing ones work is to get a second opinion. Michael Dinneen at Alaska Magazine in Anchorage is a wonderful shooter and really good photo editor. He is transforming the look of Alaska Magazine. At his request, I sent him a selection of images for a story on Tenakee. He chose the one above. Below Image 2833 is also of Tenakee, and I picked it for my 2014 Southeast Alaska Calendar. Both of us had the option of using either photo. Both are good images. But after looking at his pick, I have to agreed he picked the better image. Thank you for visiting.
