Every two years the Alaska State Museum in Juneau sponsors the most prestigious statewide juried photography competition called “Alaska Positive”. This year “The Dalton Highway” was juried into the show. Alaska Positive opens Friday, May 2, at the State Museum in Juneau and runs through the summer. The show which accepted 57 prints from throughout the state spends the next two years traveling the state. This photo also appears in my new book, “Alaska: A Photographic Excursion” on page 148. Camera: Nikon F4, Lens: 80-200mm f/2.8 Nikkor polarized, Film 35mm Velvia slide film. -Mark Kelley
