I took this photo of the Alaska Discovery lead guide and my wife on a trip on the Kongakut River last June. The Kongatuk River runs through the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Northeast corner of Alaska. Although mostly a river trip, there is plenty of time to hike to the top of tundra ridges that are free of trees and give the hikers stunning views. See other Kongakut photos in the stock section under the arctic national wildlife refuge (Images #2104, 2113, 2114, 2115 and 2116). Camera: Nikon F5, Lens: 35-70mm f/2.8 Nikkor, and Film: 35mm Fuji Velvia.-Mark Kelley
