Celebration 2010, Centennial Hall Stage, Juneau Alaska – Image 2676

Coronell Brothers from Juneau perform on stage during Celebration 2010 entrance dance. I shot this photo and the previous week’s photo in a high balcony way above the packed dance floor. I needed the reach of the 500mm lens but also needed a steady position. There is too much movement on the floor of the packed venue, and too many people milling in front of the camera to have a successful shoot at floor level. So I got high above everyone and shot using a very long lens on the Wimberley head at ISO 2000. An amazing amount of the photos worked really well. Enjoy the photo and thanks for visiting.
