A member of the “Rainbow Creek Dancers”, Terri-Lynn Williams-Davidson drums during the opening entrance dance at Celebration 2010 that happpened June 2-5, 2010. The “Rainbow Creek Dancers”or in Haida “Tuul Gundlass Xyall Xaada” were the lead dance group welcoming some 2,000 Tlingit, Haida and Tsiimsian dancers from 51 dance groups. Started in 1982 by the Sealaska Heritage Foundation, Celebration is a bieenial gathering of almost 5,000 people which has become Southeast Alaska’s largest cultural event.
