Description
The orca is the largest member of the dolphin family and can weigh up to 22,000 pounds. Also called killer whales, orca are fast swimmers, capable of moving over 30 miles per hour. Orcas live in groups called pods, with each pod consisting of a mother and her off-spring, 3 to 40 whales in all.
