Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness, Alaska-Image #2933

Oct 14, 2015

If someone told me they only had one day to visit Alaska, I would send them to Tracy Arm.  I have been living in Juneau for over 35 years and have gone to Tracy Arm so many times I have lost count. In Tracy Arm you are almost guaranteed to see harbor seals, glaciers, and incredibly steep and narrow fjords rising several thousand feet high. More than likely you will see glaciers calving and incredibly blue icebergs, some as large as the boat you will be traveling in, will be floating by. Going to Tracy Arm is a day-long boat trip from our Juneau waterfront. Make sure to put Tracy Arm on your Juneau itinerary!  This photo illustrates the month of April in the 2016 Juneau Alaska Calendar.  Thank you for visiting!
