Powder Heaven, Juneau, Alaska #2997

Mar 23, 2017

If you like winter, then Juneau’s winter of 2016-17 has been pretty perfect with plenty of snow followed by plenty of sunshine. Recently my wife and I enjoyed a cross-country ski adventure through miles of untouched snow in the meadows in Spaulding Meadows just above Auke Bay. Juneau’s Eaglecrest Ski area has over five feet of snow at the base and over eleven feet at the top. I am so happy that there is still plenty of snow to finish out the season. Enjoy the photo and thank you for visiting. Camera: Nikon D800, Lens: Nikkor 24-120mm, ISO 100, digital capture ©Mark Kelley
