Northern Lights, Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau, Alaska #3392

Apr 21, 2021

I had a wonderful shoot on Friday night (see previous posting), and the northern lights’ predictions were strong as well for Saturday night. To tell the truth, I have not had much luck shooting the aurora for the past year. Understandably, I was overjoyed but a little skeptical with the possibility of shooting the lights two nights in a row. I shot this image of the aurora borealis over the Mendenhall Glacier between 11:30pm and 12:30am and was in bed by 1:00am dreaming about a sunny Sunday ski day. .
