Moon Set, Juneau, Alaska #3443

February’s full moon is known as the “snow moon” due to that month’s typically heavy snowfalls. According to the National Weather Service, on average February is the United States’ snowiest month.  This “snow moon” sets over the Chilkat Mountains, Shelter Island and Lena Point and was shot in February 2021. I posted this image back then and due to everyone’s great responses decided it had to be a calendar shot.
