Lion’s Head Mountain, Echo Cove, Juneau, Alaska #3427

Nov 25, 2021

This is one of my favorite images that I have shot in a long time. While I was shooting this huge scene some unknown person over a half a mile away walked into the image exactly where I needed a person. Twenty motor drive images in my camera later the person disappeared into the forest never to be seen again. I could not believe my incredibly good fortune. This image so speaks to me about being out and alone in the oversized Alaska wilds. I will be at the Juneau Public Market starting Friday, November 26 through Sunday, November 28th. Come by and say hello. The image illustrates the cover and the month of November for my 2022 Juneau Alaska Calendar. Thank you for visiting and for the gift of your time. Enjoy – Camera: #Nikon #D850, Lens: # Nikkor 24–70mm, Digital Capture, Tripod, ©Mark Kelley
