LeConte Glacier, Alaska #3345

Mar 11, 2020

A small cloud break at sunset lights up the ocean behind an iceberg from the LeConte Glacier. LeConte Glacier is the most southern tidewater glacier in North America. I have photographed every tidewater glacier in Alaska’s Inside Passage and the LeConte is one of my favorites. I took this photo last year while hosting six photographers on a photo adventure in the Wrangell area to photograph bears at Anan Creek, humpback whales, and the LeConte Glacier. I am offering the exact same trip again in 2020, from August 3-9, and have just one slot open. During our photo adventure we will spend an entire day photographing the glacier, icebergs, seals, and calving ice.
