FISHING WITH A VIEW – How about going crabbing at sea with the Mendenhall Glacier as your backdrop? Michael Blume prepares to set a king crab pot on the F/V Osprey. Fish and Game opened a red king commercial fishery in the Juneau area for the first time in seven years. The one-day opening started at noon on Wednesday and ends at noon today, Thursday, November 2. Boats were limited to twenty pots. I am that lucky guy that got to go along on a beautiful Southeast Alaska winter day.
