July 4th, 2000 fireworks over Gastineau Channel, Juneau, Alaska – Image 2112

I was looking for a different angle to shoot the annual July 4th fireworks. I got permision to shoot on top of an oil tank at Taku Oil for this photo. This shot was taken with a Nikon F/5 equipped with a Nikor 35-70mm F/2.8 lens on Fuji Velvia film pushed one stop. The exposure was unrecorded.
