“Harnessing of the Atom” totem pole – Image 2024

Purple lilacs, mountain ash and red hawthorne flowers surround the totem outside the Juneau-Douglas City Museum in downtown Juneau. Every June there is about a week’s time when the three different flowers reach their peak blooms. I shot this with a 300mm lens on Fuji 50 film with a Nikon F3 camera.-Mark Kelley
