Grizzly, Denali National Park, Alaska #3077

I love a big beautiful face-shot of a bear, but every once in a while I like to show my wildlife subjects in their environment. In the photo business this image is called an environmental portrait. The bear walking up a mountain on a windy day, and the river running through the valley below, defines the mountain environment this grizzly calls home. I photographed this grizzly bear in Denali National Park. It illustrates the month of June in my 2019 Alaska Calendar.
