Full Moon, Juneau, Alaska #3393

Apr 26, 2021

The locals in Juneau, Alaska, have been feeling like Bill Murray in the movie “Groundhog Day.” The past twelve days we have seen the sunrise at 5am. Meanwhile, the moon changed from a small sliver to a full moon setting over the Chilkat Mountains by this morning. Add in about six nights of northern lights and daily temperatures in the 60’s to low 70’s and I am thinking we are living in an alternative universe. All good things must come to an end, and the weather people are predicting that our normal cloud cover and wet weather will be here soon.
