Surrounded by the Alaska Range, Denali, in Denali National Park and Preserve, is the tallest mountain in North America, rising some 20,310 feet (6,190 meters) above sea level. The park is one of my favorite spots in Alaska. During my 50 years in Alaska I have probably spent more than three months in the park on various photo shoots and visits.
