Denali, Wonder Lake, Denali National Park, Alaska #3044

Jan 31, 2018

Denali casts a mirror reflection on Wonder Lake at sunrise. I shot this image at the north end of Wonder Lake looking south at Denali and the Alaska Range. It is my favorite go-to spot in the park. On clear mornings I always start my shoot here. I first visited the park in 1974 and have lost count of how many times I have shot this spot during the past 44 years. I never tire of working this location and images are different enough that I keep coming back year after year to see if I can improve on what I previously shot. This image is now my new favorite from this location. Thank you for visiting – Camera: Nikon D800, Lens: Nikkor 24-120mm, Digital Capture, polarizing filter, Tripod ©Mark Kelley
