Blue Ice, Tracy Arm, Alaska #3399

Jun 29, 2021

The first time I went to Tracy Arm was in 1979 and have gone back almost every year since. The Arm is famous for having the bluest icebergs in Alaska. Last week I spent a day in Tracy Arm on board the Captain Cook, one of the three boats that Adventure Bound runs to Tracy Arm. I thought I had seen a lot of really great blue ice but this iceberg is the best blue iceberg I have ever seen in my forty-plus years of shooting this fabulous place. I had a really wonderful one-day shoot. I plan to showcase those images for the next few days. Enjoy and thank you for visiting – Camera: #Nikon #D850, Lens: # Nikkor 24-70mm, Digital Capture, ©Mark Kelley
