Bald Eagle, Juneau, Alaska #3339

Feb 13, 2020

After taking the image that I posted last week in the morning, I went back in the afternoon to see what else our local bald eagles were up to. I found this large group hanging out together in the spruce trees in Juneau’s Lemon Creek area, hiding from the bad weather. According to Google a large group of bald eagles is officially called a “convocation,” who knew! See how many eagles you can find in this photo. Some of the eagles are very well hidden and really hard to find. Enjoy – Camera: #Nikon #D850, Lens: #Nikkor 80-400, Digital Capture, Hand-held, ISO 1250, F/5.6, Shutter Speed 1/650 ©Mark Kelley
