Aurora Borealis, Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau, Alaska

Feb 10, 2021

This aurora borealis photo is my new Facebook banner image that I took some time ago. This fall/winter I have spent a number of very long, frustrating nights out thinking I was going to get strong showings of the northern lights, only to have no luck. I used to plan on three to four good aurora nights per year. It has been at least two years since I can remember a really good showing. So, I went back into the files on found a gem that I have not shared before. Here is to dreaming that northern lights will return soon to grace our heavens.
