Alaska State Ferry, Lynn Canal, Southeast Alaska – Image 2016

I was leaving Auke Bay on a small boat on my way to Glacier Bay about 6am in the morning. It was kind of a blah, overcast, nothing-special day until the rain squall hit and the sun broke through a hole in the cloud. It was all over in about two minutes. I shot this photo with my Nikon F5 using my 80-200mm F/2.8 lens with a polarizing filter on Velvia film.-Mark Kelley
