Alaska Calendar 2025

Nov 4, 2024

My Alaska calendar 2025 features South Sawyer Glacier in Alaska’s Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness. This glacier is one of the bluest and most active tidewater glaciers in Alaska. The image features the glacier calving while harbor seals rest on ice flows in front of the glacier. Harbor seals pup on the ice and use it as a safe refuge from a seal’s main predator, the killer whale. During peak pupping times, from late May through late June, it is not uncommon to find 200 to 500 seals on these ice flows. The 2025 Alaska Calendar is now available online at markkelley.com and in your Juneau stores. I will be at the Public Market signing calendars Nov 29-through December 1.
