It has been snowing up a storm in Juneau these last two weeks. Last weekend Juneau’s Eaglecrest Ski Area received almost four feet of snow! Today this bald eagle was hanging out in a spruce tree in Juneau’s Lemon Creek area. I love how the monochromatic and out-of-focus background of snow-covered trees makes the eagle and the green spruce tree pop. Please excuse my January absence from the web, I took a little break.
