Eastern Passage, Wrangell, Alaska – Image 2842

This image was taken onboard the “Delphinus” while on anchor. I was waiting to go to Anan Creek to photograph bears. The image is of Zoe Kipping and ran as a cover of Alaska Magazine in October 2012. I knew I liked the image but after the photo editor of Alaska Magazine, Michael Dinneen, picked it as a cover I thought it should go into my next calendar as well. I always appreciate a second set of eyes to review my work. I shot this image while conducting a photo workshop onboard the “Delphinus” for Ronn Patterson, owner of Dolphin Charters.
