Snowboarders riding the Eaglecrest Ski Area’s Ptarmigan Chairlift are silhouetted against Mt. Ben Stewart. Some refer to Eaglecrest as “The Best Little Ski Area in the World”. I would agree with the sentiment especially when you have a mountain backdrop like this one. Photographically, when shooting a silhouette it’s really important to make sure the background behind the subject is clean. The smooth snow makes for a perfect silhouette.
