Two winters ago Juneau experienced an amazing show of northern lights in the beginning of March. After this particular shoot I knew I had a winner. Some years I struggle to find the right calendar cover image, but this image is a quintessential Juneau image and is featured on the cover of my 2017 Juneau calendar. It is also featured during the month of December, the perfect photo to celebrate the holidays. May you and yours have a happy and warm holiday season.
