Tufted Puffins, Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska – Image 2501

Oct 1, 2013

A group of tufted puffins swims around an iceberg in Glacier Bay National Park. I could have shown a cute, close-up shot of a puffin in my Glacier Bay book, but I picked this image. The close-up shot could have been taken anywhere and is overseen and over-used. The puffins paddling around icebergs place these birds in Glacier Bay. It is important to me that images that illustrate my books come from the area the book covers. This image illustrates page 52 in my book on Glacier Bay National Park.
