This year’s photo on the Juneau phone book cover makes eight covers in a row that my work has illustrated the annual Alaska Communications Systems’ publication. To photograph the top of the 50-foot pole with the scenery as a backdrop, I climbed up a spruce tree behind the pole and shot through an opening in the branches.
