I just spent one week in the Galapagos in Ecuador. There, I saw plenty ofCalifornia sea lions and they reminded of their cousins in Alaska. I shotthis photo of stellar sea lions in the Inian Islands while traveling in askiff with my good friend Paul Johnson owner of the Gull Cove Lodge. The light of the fading day was just right and we stopped long enough to take a roll of film. When we left the aniamls were still on the rocks. I shot this photo with a Nikon F/4 with a Nikor 300mm F/4 lens using 35mm Velvia film. This photo can be found in my book, Juneau Portrait II.-Mark Kelley
